In late October, the Viteff trade show in Champagne was the first since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, and was seen as a breath of fresh air in Champagne.
We were able to present to visitors our new cork for sparkling wines, the Mytik Diam 10. During the four days of the event, our clients were genuinely surprised by the comparative trials between Mytik Diam 5 – Mytik Diam 10 which we showed on our stand. We also presented this new product to the press over a breakfast event where Dimitri Tixador (Head of R&D) and Fabien N’guyen (Cork Buyer) were able to answer questions concerning product development and French cork which is used in its production.
During the evening event, we proposed a French evening to our clients, in honour of the launch of the MD10 made using French cork. Cheese and wine from all four corners of France were served.
And in late November, we headed south. Our teams attended the SITEVI trade show in Montpellier, which saw very high visitor numbers this year. We were able to allow people to once more discover cork from the regions, as well as to present our Diam and Origine by Diam ranges to visitors. This was also the chance to introduce the new Mytik range. The selection of luxury Mediterranean bottles also appealed greatly to our visitors, who were keen to discover, or indeed rediscover, these emblematic regional wines all corked by DIAM.
