The impact of corks on wine consumption.

According to an IPSOS study (2009), 99% of high-end wine consumers surveyed said they had already experienced cork taint, and 21% attributed this problem to the quality of the wine. This phenomenon is detrimental to both the wine's image and that of its producer.
